My View

In 3rd grade, we use myView Literacy, a research-based curriculum grounded in the Science of Reading. It focuses on key components of literacy—phonics, phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension—taught explicitly and systematically to help students become confident readers.

Each week, students explore a variety of high-quality texts, including fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Through guided reading, shared reading, and writing across genres, they develop strong reading strategies, critical thinking skills, and effective written expression.

myView also weaves in grammar, spelling, and academic vocabulary, while encouraging speaking, listening, and collaboration—helping students grow into well-rounded, thoughtful communicators.
